RAPTORVR VS.
VIVE TRACKER 3.0

RaptorVR prioritizes affordability, portability, and a simpler room setup. VIVE Tracker 3.0 costs more as a full setup, but its Lighthouse system provides externally referenced positional tracking.

THE RAPTORVR APPROACH

SPEND LESS.
STAY PRESENT.

Expensive trackers should not be the entry fee for embodied VR. RaptorVR focuses on the essentials: dependable IMU-based motion tracking, a wearable two-screw enclosure, and support when you need it.

The result is an approachable tracker system made for people who want to move naturally without overpaying for the privilege.

FIRST-GENERATION TRACKER / SENSOR PLATFORM

RAPTOR 1.0

The original RaptorVR tracker, designed around dependable inertial sensing, practical battery life, and quick recalibration.

01 / MOTION + HEADING

ICM-45686 + QMC6309

RaptorVR V1.0 pairs the ICM-45686 IMU with the QMC6309 magnetometer. Together, they capture the motion and heading data used by the software to estimate your full-body pose.

02 / BATTERY

1500 MAH IN EVERY TRACKER

Every tracker uses a 1500 mAh battery rated for up to approximately 11 hours of playtime, depending on use and network conditions.

03 / DRIFT + RECALIBRATION

REALIGN AND KEEP MOVING.

RaptorVR does not rely on Lighthouse base stations. Instead, each tracker uses its own inertial sensors to measure rotation while the software combines those readings to estimate your pose. Over time—especially during fast or repetitive movement—a tracker can become slightly off-axis. If you notice drift, simply use the Calibrate or Recalibrate button in the Raptor VR GUI to realign the system and get back into motion.
